On September 28 The Rookies have released its 12th annual ranking lists naming the Top 50 schools offering programs in game design, animation, visual effects, concept art, motion graphics and architectural visualisation.

Top 50 Creative Media & Entertainment Schools & Colleges in the World

In the Top 50 Creative Media & Entertainment Schools & Colleges in the World category, Breda University of Applied Sciences made number 36 (number 43 last year). A great achievement to all of us and our students, which obviously makes us very proud!

Industry-based rankings

In addition to the Top 50, industry based rankings have been announced for the Best Schools across 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Archviz, Concept Art, Game Development, Motion Design, Product Design and Visual Effects courses.

In the category Best Game Design & Development Schools in the World 2022 we made number 8.
In the category Best Concept Art & Illustration Schools in the World 2022 we made number 17.
In the category Game Design & Development Schools - Production Excellence 2022 number 8.
In the category Visual Effects and Animation Schools - Production Excellence 2022 number 9.
