ProCare and BUas launch collaboration during VP Gathering 2023

ProCare and the Academy for Games & Media at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) are beginning a new collaboration.

With the Vicon 3D Motion Capturing system installed by ProCare, employees and students of BUas and ProCare will have the opportunity to exchange relevant knowledge in the field of Virtual Production. The Virtual Production Gathering 2023 marks the start of this collaboration.
This week, BUas is hosting its second VP Gathering in our brand-new Virtual Production studio. The studio combines the Vicon tracking system with a curved LED screen for film and game production. This allows students to use the motion sensors of Vicon for both performance capture and camera tracking. Film and game producers can animate virtual characters for the LED screen and adjust the screen's backdrop to the positions of the film camera.
With this cutting-edge method of film and game production, both BUas and ProCare expect to gain a lot of new knowledge. The collaboration between the two parties is primarily focused on the exchange of knowledge in the field of Virtual Production and Visual Effects.
