From 26 to 28 January, Breda University of Applied Sciences was the beating heart for this year's Global Game Jam, offering one of the largest venues in Europe for the Jammers.
The GGJ is the world's largest game creation event, taking place around the world with tens of thousands of participants in hundreds of physical and virtual locations in more than 100 countries.
GGJ's mission is to enable all individuals worldwide to learn, experiment and create together through games in a safe and welcoming environment. This fits well with the ambition of the municipality of Breda and knowledge institute BUas. Breda municipality wants to develop as an International Hotspot for Applied Technology and Creativity. This involves, among other things, working together with businesses and knowledge institutions to promote innovation and entrepreneurship such as DS&AI and gaming.
